Interested individuals may register to attend a legal clinic Forms Workshop where immigration attorneys will provide information about DACA and review step-by-step how to complete the necessary forms (Form I-821D, Form I-765, Form I-765 Worksheet.)
Students, farmworkers, or any person in Skagit County or San Juan County who otherwise meet SLA’s income guidelines may attend a workshop if they can answer YES to ALL of the following:
Born on/after June 15, 1981;
Entered United States before age 16 and on/before June 15, 2007;
Age 15 or Older on Date of Application (unless Prior Removal Proceedings);
Physically Present in the U.S. on June 15, 2012;
Continued Physical Presence between August 15, 2012 and the Present;
Residence Established in the U.S. on/before June 15, 2007 to the Present (No Deportations or Removals between June 15, 2007 and the Present);
In School (Elementary through High School or GED Program) OR Completed High School or GED OR Military or Coast Guard Program;
No Disqualifying Issues – No Felonies or Significant Misdemeanors, DUI, Gang Affiliations.
Pre and Post Workshop Assistance
Before and after the Forms Workshop, SLA staff and volunteers can help clients:
Request helpful evidence like medical and school records,
Organize their supporting documents;
Interpret some documents from Spanish into English for free.
After the Forms Workshop, SLA staff and volunteer attorneys can review completed applications prior to submitting the application yourself.
