Skagit Legal Aid invites local attorneys to attend a FREE happy hour focused on Legal Financial Obligations (LFOs) on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm at Temperate Habits in Mount Vernon.

Attorneys can enjoy complimentary drinks and food while briefly learning about Legal Financial Obligations and completing simple court forms on behalf of indigent individuals seeking relief from court debt in Skagit County.

Anyone who would like their conviction history reviewed can sign up here. SLA staff will meet with clients to review and sign the petitions.

This project is funded by the Washington Department of Commerce Community-Based Reentry Services Support grant to provide reentry services for formerly incarcerated persons and to facilitate successful transitions to the community.
